
Police are investigating what they imagine to be a “random” break-in in northeast Calgary on Tuesday that resulted within the suspect being bitten by a police canine.
The Calgary Police Service confirmed to World Information on Tuesday evening that the break-in occurred at a house within the 100 block of seventh Road NE round 8:30 p.m.
They mentioned a girl broke in and began vandalizing the home whereas a girl was inside. CPS added that officers imagine the suspect suffered from a drug-induced psychosis on the time of the crime.
Officers responded to the incident however didn’t present particulars on what led to the canine biting the suspect. Police mentioned the suspect suffered minor accidents earlier than being sedated on the scene after which taken to hospital.
Police mentioned the landlady was not injured and so they had been unable to offer particulars on what if any prices the suspect might face.
